Uses For Wine Other Than Drinking

Uses for Wine? Why would you desire to find methods to use wine other than drink it? Well, have you ever had a little bit of wine left in your bottle and didn’t catch on to do with it and don’t determine to throw it out? Or has someone has donated you a bottle of wine, but you don’t drink wine, or you don’t enjoy the wine they gave you? Or maybe you demand to know what else you can do with the wine you want to drink? You have found the right solution.

Here we will give you ideas for wine uses, some interesting and some fun, and some more traditional wine use. You will like the idea of having fun using it rather than throwing it away.

Interesting and Fun Uses for Wine

Ice cubes

This idea is simple. Once you pour your leftover wine into an ice cube tray, then freeze it. Why? Making it easy to use single serving cubes you can add to sauces, stews, and soups. Make a sludgy or even add them to your wine (wine ice cubes will not water down your wine because it is wine)? Put together fruit and mint scatter to these ice cubes, or different shaped ice cube trays to make them a little addict for your drink or occasion. It looks very delicious. It won’t hurt to try that one.

Please observe that freezing does vary the taste of the wine, so you may wish to give it a try and make sure the taste of your wine does not remake too much.

Mask

Red wine has some excellent points in it that are good for you. You do not have to drink it to get the benefits from it. Use it as a facial! It is suitable for your skin!

This is a fun use for wine and has terrific benefits for your skin. It can help your skin look better.

Try this mask. Take one egg white and then add 1 Tablespoon honey (of course, local and/or organic is best, but whatever you have on hand works) and add 3 Tablespoons of Red Wine. Mix gently till it is nice a smooth.

Wash your face. With clean fingers, apply the combination to your face and neck. Apply it generously but avoid your mouth and eyes. It does not keep, so throw away what is remained.

Turn on some music, listen to a book, enjoy the silence, or whatever you can do while you lay back and let it soak in for 15 minutes. Then use warm water to wash it off.

Here is another wine mask.

To 1 cup of yogurt, add 1 Tablespoon of honey and 4 Tablespoons of Wine, add another tablespoon of wine if needed. Whip the ingredients together.

Before you apply the mask, you will want to boil your face first for about 5 minutes to get the cracks open. You can sizzle it by using a hot towel or put the towel over your head and a bowl of hot water, so the sizzle goes up to your face, or use your face steamer if you have one.

With clean hands, use fingertips to apply the mask to the face, avoid mouth and eyes. Use as much as you would like, but if you have remained, make sure to throw it away.

Leave the mask on the face for 5 – 7 minutes, then wash it off with warm water. Here is a tip: white wine is best for dry skin, and red wine is best for oily skin. Try a mask with each and see which works best for you and your skin.

Facials

All you desire for this first facial is a cotton ball and red wine. Wet the cotton ball with the wine and apply wine to your face. Leave it on your face for 20 minutes and then wash off. This is great for acne-prone skin.  It is a great tip to get rid of acne-prone skin.

Body Scrub

Use the oatmeal facial above for a body scrub, but here is another body scrub.

First, melt a tablespoon of coconut oil on low heat. In a big bowl, you will combine about 1 to 1 1/2 cup of coarser sugar like turbinado or coconut sugar, but if you don’t have any on hand, use regular sugar. Pour in a tablespoon of honey, melted coconut oil, and 1/4 cup of red wine. If the combination is not stiff enough, add more sugar. Some prefer their scrubs thicker, and some prefer them thinner, so combine them to the thickness you prefer.

You will want to store it in an airtight can or jar; a canning jar works great. If you have kids or afraid of dropping it, you might want to use a plastic jar.

Now take a shower or bath and gently wash off your body. Do not wash off too hard.

A word of caution: With coconut oil in this body scrub, be careful, it can become lubricate.

Hair rinse

Use Red Wine for your final rinse; after shampooing and conditioning your hair, you may see these benefits. It can help your hair looks great.

Thicker hair

Shinier hair

Less dandruff

Less hair loss
